Barns
Get a high-quality, yet low priced, barn without the cost of drawing up plans, purchasing supplies, and installation. Pole barns have many of the features a traditional structure does and are a fraction of the cost. DIY Pole Barns has do-it-yourself kits for constructing such a structure in just few days. This way, you get the space for storage you need in less time and at an affordable price.
Most barns are used for general storage, and a basic kit is all that's necessary in this case. All barns from DIY Pole Barns comes with premium-grade lumber, code-compliant wood trusses, and painted galvalume metal roofing and siding. For a 40-year warranty, the metal is coated with modified siliconized polyester paint. As installation is a key step in installing all barns, each kit comes with concrete footers and all necessary fasteners. Standard structures also come with a six-panel door and a sliding door, although additional custom features can be added upon request.
General storage is a common need for most pole barns. A home or building may no longer have enough storage for vehicles and other items, and instead of keeping them outdoors, protecting them with a shed-like structure gets the items out of the house and keeps them in shape. Small barns, for example, are ideal as garages or as workshops. Larger structures can accommodate both of these needs under one roof.
Barns are also needed for horses and equipment storage on farms. For equipment, such as tractors, the barns simply need a door large enough to accommodate the vehicles and other items inside. For animals, on the other hand, the structure can include plans for stalls and dutch doors. Plans for horse barns, which include layouts for stalls and hay storage, can be drawn up by an architect or contractor. Insulating the building can be done befre or after the structure is installed.
