Who We Are
DIY Pole Barns President, Mike Gilmore, was raised in rural Western Ohio where God is still God and a handshake still means something. This old-fashioned upbringing is the foundation on which DIY Pole Barns & Supplies, Inc. was established in the Spring of 2004. As Mike and his wife, Natalie, began developing a company based on these solid standards, they also made a commitment to uphold their integrity and faith as the filters by which they make every decision.
Mike has never wanted to be the largest pole barn supplier. Instead his goal is to provide a business focused on low price, high quality and superior customer service. Essentially, Mike wants each DIY project to reflect the same level of standards that he would build on his own property while also developing positive relationships with his customers, business associates and co-workers.
Along with his wife and four young daughters, Mike gives all of the praise for business and personal success to God...He makes all things possible.

All of our designs were created with you in mind. We use the highest quality materials & components as well as easy to follow plans to insure successful construction of your new DIY Pole Barn. In addition, our focus on customer service includes FREE delivery within 3-4 weeks of your order, FREE on-site unloading by the delivery driver and FREE expert support from our DIY team via phone and email. There is no question too big or too small... we are here to walk you through every step of the DIY process.
Affordable
At DIY Pole Barns we pride ourselves on keeping our overhead low so we can pass the savings along to you. Unlike others in our industry, we don't need to inflate our prices to cover the cost of delivery trucks, high-end showrooms or flashy advertising. Instead, we have built strong relationships with our vendors, which enables us to receive great pricing and deliver the best product to your building site.
Complete
We provide you with everything you will need to get your DIY project off the ground, from the premium grade lumber, code-compliant wood trusses, to the Galvalume metal roofing and siding (with a 25-year warranty and a modified siliconized polyester paint with a 40-year chalk and fade warranty). You can always expect us to cover even the smallest details, including all the necessary fasteners, concrete for the footers, and all the necessary roof, wall and door trims. All this with the promise that we will keep you on schedule by working promptly with the suppliers to solve any product shortages or defects at the time of delivery.
In addition to our lumber, truss and metal quality, you will also receive a complete set of blueprints detailing every aspect of your building design. This multipage plan will be emailed to you within days of your purchase to keep you on track with permit applications as well as a reference during the construction of your DIY Pole Barn.
